There are several local, regional and national vascular surgery organizations that have yearly meetings for presentation of research and educational offerings.

Society for Vascular Surgery

The largest national organization devoted to the needs of vascular surgeons. Conducts a yearly Vascular Annual Meeting. This meeting is usually conducted in late May or June. There is a dedicated educational program directed toward medical students with an interest in vascular surgery.

Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery

National vascular surgery organization that conducts a yearly meeting. Dedicated educational programs focused on vascular surgery fellows and integrated vascular residents.

Southern Association for Vascular Surgery

Southern regional society that has a yearly January meeting. Educational programs focused toward vascular fellows including a mock oral exam held before the meeting.

Virginia Vascular Society

Virginia based organization of vascular surgeons. There is a local Virginia based yearly September meeting that has presentations of original research from the Virginia based academic and private practicing vascular surgeons. This is an ideal meeting setting for medical student, resident and fellow presentations. The organization also serves as a networking opportunity for junior trainees to interact with leading state vascular surgeons.
